We had a beautiful little and reasonably large room with stunning views. Very clean beds, the staff were amiable. The location was peaceful, near to restaurants, bars and shop-, the centre, and the beach and Kaikoura.

The staff were fairly friendly and helped with free parking. The rooms were exceptionally clean and view to town was magnificent!

The location of this hotel just next door to a beautiful beach at the other end of the coastal walk and clear aqua blue ocean overlooking the mountainous regions was peaceful and absolutely perfect. It was only 2 km from Dolphin Encounter.

The staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the location is ideal, away from the hustle and bustle of the town center.

Great location - just a short walk away from the seal colony at Ohau Point! the rooms were nice and quiet, and very clean. Plus, the beds were super comfy for a good night's sleep. 🌟

We had a wonderful Christmas stay in a cozy cottage. The layout of the room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a lovely fireplace that added a homely touch. The cabin was well equipped and had everything we needed. The location was great, just a stone's throw away from the beach. We enjoyed taking a stroll and taking in the beautiful views. a fantastic experience.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, there were a few minor inconveniences. The lack of a dryer was a bit inconvenient, especially during the rainy days when our clothes took longer to dry.

This place is perfect for a one-night stay, with new and friendly staff, amazing town views, proximity to a boat dock, and a wonderful breakfast selection.

The hotel has a great location just across the road from the beach, with clear blue ocean and mountain views. the rooms are simple but comfortable, with well-equipped bathrooms. the friendly owners provide helpful local advice.

The hotel amenities are limited and there is no bar or restaurant on site.

I had an excellent stay in February with warm weather. the location was particularly good, as it was adjacent to a beautiful beach at the other end of the coastal walk, and close to New Zealand's North and South Islands. I checked out the Ohau Point Seal Colony, which was relatively near the property.

The place has modern facilities, super-friendly staff, very comfy beds, and quiet rooms, making it a great spot with no complaints.

During my recent stay at Bay Cottages, I was delighted by the spacious and clean detached unit I stayed in. The kitchen, bedroom, and sitting room were all combined into one large room, which gave a wonderful feeling of space. The unit was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything I needed. Plus, the view of the beach and sea from my unit was amazing.

The hotel is great value for money, with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-equipped kitchenette and TV with Netflix, to the extra large bed in the cozy rooms. The location on a beautiful beach, just over the road from the ocean, is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff provide excellent service, and the basic amenities, including a washing machine, make for a comfortable stay.

All was ok, with no major issues to mention.
